Senior SLED Architect

Complete Description:
The Office of the State Superintendent of
Education (OSSE), seeks one contractor who will
provide State Longitudinal Education Data System
(SLED) Architect services to provide due
diligience, investigate and direct and document
architected decisions in order to direct proper
alignment with the Federal Department of
Education requirements standards. This is a
highly skilled position and this candidate needs
to be familair with educational data
requirements as outlined by state and federal
educational requirements for data reporting
This Contractor will also assist and direct data
interfaces with other OSSE systems to include
but not limited to Early Childhood Educaton
(ECE), Grants Systems and Post Secondary
Educational systems. Will also recommend and
consult concerning emerging technologies for
SLED to include mobile computing, open content
and visual Data Analysis.
Behavior Characteristics:
Contractor shall be responsible for assuring
that personnel have laptops and communication
equipment. Contractors shall work onsite. Over
time, over 8 hours a day and or over 40 hours a
week is only authorized if approved in writing
before it is worked.
